Quoting tips from the field
- Attach the inclusions checklist to every quote — it ends the 'I thought windows were included' argument before it starts.

Common questions
Do cleaning businesses charge GST?
Only if you're registered for GST — compulsory once your turnover reaches $75,000 a year. If you are, show the ex-GST amount, the 10% GST and the total separately. Over $82.50 (incl. GST), your invoice must be a tax invoice showing your ABN.
Should cleaners quote per hour or per visit?
Per visit for residential work — clients want to know what Tuesday costs, not watch a clock. Keep hourly pricing for jobs with unknown scope like hoarding or post-renovation cleans.
What belongs on a bond clean quote?
